Jan Jaluvka - a Capable, Experienced and Trustworthy Lawyer

Jan Jaluvka was educated at The University of Toronto and Osgoode Hall Law School. He was called to the bar and founded our law firm in Niagara Falls in 1974.

Jan practises in the areas of real estate and mortgages, wills and estates and business law.

He is recognized as one of the most knowledgeable and well-respected real estate lawyers in the Niagara area. Jan is frequently called upon by other lawyers and real estate professionals to assist them in dealing with difficult and complex real estate issues. Jan applies the same high degree of skill and professionalism on behalf of each and every one of his clients whether they are a young couple purchasing their first home or a large financial institution lending money by way of a mortgage.

Community service has always been an important part of Jan’s life. He has always taken an active role in community affairs having served on Niagara Falls city council and as head of the city’s economic development agency. He has also served in chief executive or board capacities with The Niagara Falls Bar Association, United Church, Rotary Club, YMCA, YWCA, Chamber of Commerce and Niagara Concerts.

Jan is an accomplished pianist who teaches piano technique and high performance skills to a small group of talented, highly motivated music students.

He and his wife, Erika, have a young daughter with whom he spends much of his spare time practising piano and soccer at their home on the upper Niagara River.
